According to Wordstream.com, “ Cost Per Action (CPA), also known as cost per acquisition, is a method of paying for advertising that allows you to pay for each conversion as opposed to each time a searcher sees or clicks on your ad.” Essentially, this means marketers or advertisers only need to pay for the action their product/services receives. There are several different types of actions for CPA marketing: purchases, downloads, signing up for websites or newsletters, and lastly filling out a form. CPA tends to give marketers a better bang for their buck in comparison Cost Per Click advertising, because those who take action on a webpage (CPA) are expressing more interest than simply surfing the web (CPC).
