OVERVIEW
Motivated by a passion for pets and an entrepreneurial interest in direct selling‚ Shure Pets Inc. was founded in 2003 by Chicago entrepreneur‚ Andrew N. Shure.

Prior to the founding of Shure Pets‚ pet products were only sold through direct selling on a limited basis and not at all via home parties. Considering that 70% of the U.S. population has pets‚ the possibility of creating a platform for pet lovers to be their own boss in a profession that they love seemed self–evident.

CHALLENGE
Shure Pets had grown their business – and their product line – one representative and one SKU at a time. Seeking to take the company’s image to the next level, in an effort to attract more independent sales reps, Shure Pets needed a firm with direct selling and direct marketing catalog expertise. An overhaul of the company website and catalog – with a close eye on product selection and merchandising presented a big obstacle to the growing firm’s limited budget.

SOLUTION
With more than 25 years expertise in direct sales marketing – the majority of experience with Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. of Dallas, Texas – Andrew Shure knew our expertise could help him meet the twin challenges of marketing to consumers (pet owners) and businesses (independent reps) within the same media. Paring down the product line, completely re-organizing and establishing a true hierarchy in print and on the newly re-designed website, we succeeded in creating a winning product for Andrew Shure and his team of Pet Consultants.
